Mahalaxmi Bank celebrates 30th anniversary

KATHMANDU: Mahalakshmi Bikas Bank Ltd., offering banking services across urban and rural areas, marks its 30th anniversary from May 20.

As part of the celebration, the bank has successfully concluded financial literacy rallies and blood donation programs through its network of eight branches.

On this occasion, the bank successfully conducted financial literacy rallies and blood donation programs through its eight branches. Additionally, it organized various programs including health and eye camps, the Mahalaxmi Corporate Cricket League 2024, and Series 3 of tournaments to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

During the annual celebration, the bank expressed gratitude to its shareholders, customers, regulators, and well-wishers. A total of 295 pints of blood were collected through blood donation programs conducted at eight branch offices on May 19. The bank aimed to ease blood management challenges in the health sector through such initiatives.

Furthermore, on May 18, Saturday morning from 7:30 to 8:30 AM, the bank organized a financial literacy morning event involving staff from central and regional offices as well as branch offices. The event featured the usage of financial services such as mobile banking, smart cards, deposits, loans, and remittance.

On May 20, Monday, the bank conducted cultural programs with the participation of employees from central, regional, and branch offices to promote awareness of the country’s geographical and cultural diversity.

Additionally, the bank will organize health camps on May 21 and eye camps on May 22 at its central office on Durbar Marg.

Furthermore, the third round of the Mahalaxmi Corporate Cricket League 2024, involving 16 teams, will be held on June 4, 5, and 6.
