Man held on murder charges in Itahari

KATHMANDU: The police on Saturday evening arrested 33-year-old Umesh Chaudhary, a resident of the Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City-7, Sunsari, on the charge of murdering 28-year-old Ram Kumar Pandit alias Bhim, resident of the same municipality.

As soon as the news was received that Ramkumar died on the spot when Umesh struck a sharp weapon at Ramjanaki tole in the same sub-metropolitan city-7, the police station from the area police office Itahari arrested him with a machete.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
