KATHMANDU: TVS Motor Company (TVSM), a leading global automaker in the two and three-wheeler segments, today announced the launch of the 2024 TVS Apache RTR 160 motorcycle in Nepal.

The company offers a slew of products to its customers in Nepal, including the TVS Apache series, a popular brand amongst enthusiasts of performance motorcycles.

The all-new 2024 TVS Apache RTR 160 comes updated with striking style elements and new attractive graphics that are in line with its racing DNA.

Its new-gen engine boasts best-in-class power, while its reduced friction ensures improved performance and mileage for riders.

The power increase coupled with a weight reduction of 2 kgs in the motorcycle has resulted in an enhanced power-to-weight ratio, for an uncompromised ride experience.

First launched in 2005, with a strong presence in over 60+ countries, TVS Apache has become one of the fastest-growing sports brands world over. The 2024 TVS Apache RTR 160 comes equipped with five-step adjustable rear suspension along with more power than before, making it a formidable choice amongst motorcycle enthusiasts in Nepal. The motorcycle is fitted with Remora Tubeless Tyres and Disc Brake, both contributing to superior grip, enhanced ride quality, and a fully digital instrument cluster with SmartXonnect TM powered with Bluetooth for an improved overall performance. Powered by the RTR oversquare new-gen engine, the 2024 TVS Apache RTR 160 boasts a four-stroke, fuel-injected 159.7 cc single-cylinder, two-valve SOHC air-cooled engine. This powerhouse delivers a maximum power of 11.19 kW at 8500 rpm and 13.08 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm.

Equipped with a double-cradle Synchro Stiff Chassis, a five-speed gearbox, and 270 mm Roto-Petal Disc Brakes, this racing machine excels in aggressive braking, straight-line performance, and flexibility during tight cornering. The introduction of the Synchronized Stiff Chassis ensures not only enhanced performance but also safe balance for riders.

The 2024 TVS Apache RTR 160 will be available in five colours – Matte Blue, Racing Red, Gloss Black, T Grey and Pearl White, starting at a price of NPR 3,05,900.
