KATHMANDU: In a bid to streamline the insurance process, Citizen Life Insurance Company has initiated a Video KYC procedure, slated to commence from April 21.
The new protocol necessitates individuals residing abroad to complete their insurance applications, along with the e-Application Declaration Form, through the agent portal.
All requisite details will be obtained via this portal. The company aims to enhance the efficiency of KYC-related arrangements by incorporating the concept of digital empowerment.
Prospective policyholders are required to submit all necessary information through the agent portal, followed by uploading scanned copies of the completed e-Application Declaration Form.
Additionally, individuals must submit a video related to their KYC process, as determined by the company, to Citizen Life.
The introduction of Video KYC is expected to simplify the insurance process for policyholders, providing them with added convenience.
