KATHMANDU: The CPN has initiated festivities marking its 75th anniversary as the party reaches this significant milestone.

Prominent political figures, including Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, are participating in the grand event held at the Sunrise Hall in Lalitpur on Monday.

During the celebration, former Vice-Chair and immediate past General Secretary of the party, Bidya Bhandari, will be honored with the “Democratic Dignity” award.

Notable political leaders from various parties, ministers, and parliamentarians are joining the event.

Additionally, the CPN is recognizing the significant contributions of industrialists, entrepreneurs, intellectuals, writers, journalists, and party members in the celebration.

Furthermore, CPN Chair and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has made public a documentary highlighting the party’s journey to commemorate its 75th anniversary.

The CPN aims to make its Mission 2084 a success and has disclosed its future plans during the event.
