Gold price declines today

KATHMANDU: The price of gold, which set a new record in the Nepali market, decreased today (Monday).

The price of Chhapawal gold, which was traded at 139,300 rupees per tola on Sunday, has decreased by 1,100 rupees per tola today and is being traded at 138,200 rupees per tola.

The price of Tejabi gold has also decreased. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders, the price of gold has decreased by 1,100 rupees to 137,550 rupees per tola.

The price of silver has decreased by Rs 35 per tola.

On Sunday, silver was traded at 1,740 rupees per tola, today it is trading at 1,705 rupees per tola.
