KATHMANDU: The hearing in the case of Nepali citizens involved in the fake Bhutanese refugee case is underway on Sunday.

The hearing is taking place in the bench of Justices Kumar Regmi and Tek Prasad Dhungana at the Supreme Court.

The hearing is based on the petition filed by the defendants, including Teknarayan Pandey, the suspended secretary in the fake Bhutanese refugee case.

Pande and 10 others, including former Deputy Prime Minister Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, former Speaker Ananta Sharma, Dr. Indrajit Rai, Shamsher Miya, Keshav Dulal, and Sanu Bhandari, have appealed to the Supreme Court against the decision of the High Court.

According to the suspended secretary Pandey, the Supreme Court has also registered a writ for the verification of the verdict in the Supreme Court.
