KATHMANDU: After defeating Nepal, Hong Kong finished third in the ACC Premier Cup.

Hong Kong finished third after defeating Nepal by 4 wickets in the match completed on Saturday.

Along with this, Hong Kong has qualified for the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup.

Hong Kong completed the target of 140 runs given by Nepal by losing 6 wickets with 3 balls remaining.

Hong Kong’s Anshuman Rath scored an unbeaten 65. He played 50 balls and hit 4 fours and 2 sixes. Babar Hayat was dismissed for 26 and Aizaz Khan was dismissed for 12 runs, but no other batsman fared well.

Nepal’s Sompal Kami took the most 3 wickets. He bowled 4 overs and spent 33 runs. 2 wickets remained in the name of Dipendra Singh Airee.

Before that, Nepal won the toss at Oman’s Amerat Cricket Ground (Ministry Turf 1) and started batting first.
