GIBL launces ‘Paisa Aaune Thapera Paaune’ offer, cashback on global remittance transactions

KATHMANDU: Global IME Bank Limited (GIBL) has announced a new scheme to promote remittance transactions in the banking system, where you can get cashback up to 500 rupees when you send money through Global Remit.

The cashback scheme, publicly announced with slogans emphasizing ‘Paisa Aaune Thapera Paaune, offers cashback rewards ranging from Rs. 100 to Rs. 500 based on the amount of remittance sent.

Individuals sending remittances between Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 50,000 will receive Rs. 100 cashback, those sending between Rs. 50,001 to Rs. 100,000 will receive Rs. 250, and remittances exceeding Rs. 100,000 will be eligible for Rs. 500 cashback.

This scheme is set to be effective until June 10.

While sending money through Global Remit to any account in GIBL, the bank will add up to 500 rupees to the money received through remittance.
