Yadav from ruling alliance files candidacy for vice-presidential election (with photos)

KATHMANDU: Ram Sahaya Yadav of the Janata Samajbadi Party has filed candidacy for vice-presidential election from the ruling alliance.

Leaders of ruling alliance including Yadav reached the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwor, and filed the nomination of Yadav for the post.

Leaders—Ashok Rai, Pradeep Yadav, Shakti Basnet, Kisan Shrestha and Ramesh Jung Rayamajhi proposed Yadav for the post while Rekha Yadav, Ambika Kafle, Prakash Jwala, Dr Khimlal Devkota and Bhanu Bhakta Joshi seconded the proposal.
