Vijay Deverakonda & Rashmika Mandanna tie the knot

KATHMANDU: South Indian cinema’s most talked-about on-screen couple, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, have officially tied the knot in a private wedding ceremony held on Thursday at a luxury resort in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

The couple exchanged vows following traditional Telugu and Kodava customs.

The wedding was an intimate affair attended only by close family members and a few friends from the film industry. In a strict no-phone and no-camera policy, guests were asked not to use mobile phones or cameras during the ceremony, which kept the wedding away from public glare.

Later in the evening, the newlyweds delighted fans by sharing their wedding photographs on their respective social media handles.

Dressed in elegant traditional attire, both Vijay and Rashmika looked radiant in the pictures, which quickly went viral.

Sharing her happiness on Instagram, Rashmika introduced Vijay as her husband and wrote an emotional note expressing how he made her experience true love and inner peace.

She credited him for encouraging her to dream big and believe that she could achieve more than she ever imagined.

Calling him “Vizzu,” Rashmika added that she could write an entire book about him and described herself as a lucky woman who has become the person she always dreamed of being, thanks to his constant support.

Vijay and Rashmika first met in 2017 on the sets of the blockbuster Telugu film Geetha Govindam.

Their on-screen chemistry won massive appreciation from audiences, especially in the 2019 release Dear Comrade.

Over the years, friendship blossomed into romance, with dating rumours gaining momentum from 2023 onwards.
