Unnati Cultural Village launches ‘Unveiled Visions II’ to promote emerging Nepali talent

The exhibition showcased the creativity of four young Nepali artists, Sagun Thapa, Preeti Duwal, Iva KC, and Abhijeet Prajapati, through contemporary works inspired by nature, culture, and personal stories.

KATHMANDU: UNNATI, an initiative of the Chaudhary Foundation that promotes Nepal’s art and culture, inaugurated Unveiled Visions II: A Journey of Emerging Talent on 14 November 2025 at Meghauli Serai, A Taj Safari, near Chitwan National Park.

The exhibition showcased the creativity of four young Nepali artists, Sagun Thapa, Preeti Duwal, Iva KC, and Abhijeet Prajapati, through contemporary works inspired by nature, culture, and personal stories.

This event reflects UNNATI’s mission to support emerging artists and encourage wider cultural engagement in Nepal. The event was supported by Meghauli Serai, A Taj Safari Hotel, whose serene natural setting provided the perfect backdrop for an immersive experience where art and nature came together.

The opening ceremony was chaired by UCV GM Ms. Camelle Feria and attended by Chief Guest Mr. Danda Pani Rijal, Ward Chairperson of Bharatpur Metropolitan City. Mr. Deewaker Piya, Honorary Consul Designate of Uruguay in Nepal, and Mr. Yagya Prasad Chapagain, Co-Chairperson of Meghauli Upabhokta Samiti has also shown their support in the exhibition by showing their presence and interest in the art works. Representatives from Chitwan National Park, Chitwan Association of Industry, Women Entrepreneurs Forum, ArtSpace, Barahi Hotel, and Ila Comfort also joined, showing strong community and institutional support for young talent.

Mr. Danda Pani Rijal, mentioned “I am delighted to be part of this event. UNNATI’s efforts to promote and preserve art, craft, and culture are commendable. By involving the community, they are ensuring sustainability. I wish UNNATI great success in this exhibition and beyond.”

Similarly, Mr. Deewaker Piya also stated that “UNNATI has been doing remarkable work in nurturing traditional art and craft.

Supporting artists to build sustainable careers is vital, and today’s exhibition reflects that commitment. I congratulate the team and wish them success in achieving their goals.”

Unveiled Visions II will remain open until 14 February 2026, inviting visitors and art lovers to experience the fresh perspectives of Nepal’s next generation of artists.
