Sun Nepal Life Insurance backs Balaju Police Station with Rs 1M aid

KATHMANDU: As part of its commitment to corporate social responsibility, Sun Nepal Life Insurance has provided construction materials worth Rs 1 million to support the building construction of the Balaju Police Station.

The materials were formally handed over during an official ceremony in the presence of the company’s Chief Executive Officer Raj Kumar Aryal, Chief Market Officer Ganesh Chaulagain, Chief Risk Officer Roshan Gyawali, and Head of Internal Control Roshan Poudel.

From the Balaju Police Unit Reconstructi.on Committee, Chair Shiva Bhakta Ranjit, Treasurer Bed Prasad Poudel, and Deputy Superintendent of Police Yal Lal Banjade were present at the event.

Representatives of Sun Nepal Life Insurance emphasized that social security is not limited to financial protection alone, but also includes institutional strengthening.

The Chief of the Balaju Police Office expressed confidence that such support from the insurance sector would help improve service delivery.

 He also highlighted that cooperation between the community and the private sector creates long-term positive impact.

Alongside its insurance business, Sun Nepal Life Insurance has been actively implementing corporate social responsibility programs in areas such as health, education, and community infrastructure.

Currently, the company operates 148 branches and sub-branches across Nepal, reflecting its growing nationwide presence.
