Rabi to resume full duties as Prez of RSP
RSP expressed confidence that the current civilian government will take necessary measures to bring this chain of political retaliation to a complete end.
KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has announced that its President, Rabi Lamichhane, will immediately return to his core responsibilities within the party.
In an official statement released today, the party said, “We wish to inform that, following the completion of all legal and administrative procedures, President Lamichhane will resume his full responsibilities within the party.”
The statement also expressed respect for the recent order from the Butwal bench of the High Court in Tulsipur, which granted Lamichhane his release from detention.
The party reiterated that the false cases filed against President Lamichhane remain unresolved and described them as part of a political vendetta initiated by the previous authoritarian government.
