Rabi flying to Bharatpur by air, Bhairahawa by road

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane will be taken to Bharatpur after flights to Bhairahawa were cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.

Lamichhane had been waiting for several hours at Tribhuvan International Airport after the weather failed to improve, preventing flights to Bhairahawa from operating.

RSP leader Ganesh Parajuli said that arrangements have now been made to take Lamichhane to Bharatpur instead of Bhairahawa.

From Bharatpur Airport, he will be transported to Bhairahawa by road, Parajuli added.

Lamichhane will be released only after completing the required legal and administrative procedures at the Rupandehi District Court.
