Price of petroleum products reduced

KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced a reduction in the prices of several petroleum products.
According to a press release issued on Sunday, the prices of diesel, kerosene, and aviation fuel have been revised downward, effective immediately.
As per the new price list, the cost of diesel and kerosene has been reduced by Rs. 4 per liter.
Similarly, the price of domestic aviation fuel has been lowered by Rs. 1 per liter, while international aviation fuel for Kathmandu-bound flights has been adjusted by USD 7 per kiloliter.
However, despite a decline in global market prices, the retail price of petrol in Nepal remains unchanged.
Likewise, the price of liquefied petroleum (LP) gas used for cooking has also been kept the same, the corporation stated.
