KATHMANDU: Model and social media influencer Prasansa Rayamajhi is all set to step into the Nepali film industry as a lead actress with the upcoming movie “Chiranjeevi Bhavah”.
The announcement was made on Sunday as the production team officially welcomed her through a new poster release.
Prasansa, who has previously appeared in several music videos and advertisements, expressed excitement about her film debut.
She shared that she decided to take on the role after being impressed by the story of the film.
About eight years ago, she gained national attention after winning the title of “Little Miss Heritage Nepal.”
Recently, her performance in the trending music video “Manmaya” has also received positive audience feedback, particularly for her acting and dance skills.
The film will be directed by comedian-turned-filmmaker Deepak Prasad Acharya “Kaku”, whose previous directorial venture “Paran” became one of the highest-grossing films of 2082. “Chiranjeevi Bhavah” will be his second feature film.
The movie is said to revolve around an emotional storyline based on a grandfather-grandson relationship.
The script has been written by Kumar Kattel “Jigri Bro”, known for his successful collaborations with Acharya in popular comedy series like “Bhadragol” and “Sakkigoni”. Sabin Adhikari and Basanta Neupane are also involved in the screenplay.
According to the production team, the script is in its final draft stage, and filming is expected to begin within the next one and a half to two months.
