Prakash Man Singh appointed Acting PM
According to a statement from the President’s Office, President Ram Chandra Paudel appointed Singh on the recommendation of Prime Minister Oli.

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli left this morning for a five-day official visit to China.
During his absence, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh has been appointed as the Acting Prime Minister.
According to a statement from the President’s Office, President Ram Chandra Paudel appointed Singh on the recommendation of Prime Minister Oli.
In the past, Singh has also been entrusted with the role of Acting Prime Minister whenever Oli was abroad.
PM Oli will participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit in China and is scheduled to return to Nepal on Wednesday, Bhadra 18.
