KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli held bilateral talks with Chinese Vice President Han Zheng today at the Deuthai State Guest House in Beijing.

The discussions focused on various aspects of the bilateral relationship between Nepal and China.

The Nepalese delegation included former Deputy Prime Minister and House of Representatives member Purna Bahadur Khadka, Minister for Education, Science and Technology Raghuji Pant, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey, former Minister and Economic and Development Advisor to the Prime Minister Dr. Yubaraj Khatiwada, former Minister and House member Chhabilal Bishwakarma, and Foreign Ministry Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai, among others.

The delegation, led by PM Oli, had arrived in Beijing today by rail from Tianjin, after participating in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit.

PM Oli is scheduled to attend the 80th anniversary ceremony commemorating China’s victory in the World War against Fascism and the Chinese people’s resistance against Japanese aggression on Wednesday in Beijing.

He is expected to return to Nepal later the same day.
