KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has concluded his official visit to China and departed for home today.

PM Oli, who had been in China since last Saturday, departed from Beijing International Airport and is scheduled to land at Tribhuvan International Airport this evening at 8:30 PM, according to Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lok Bahadur Paudel.

During his visit, PM Oli attended the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit, where he held bilateral meetings with several world leaders, including Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

He also exchanged words with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the summit, although no formal bilateral meeting took place between the two leaders.
