KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel has emphasized that the responsibility of making Bandipur an attractive destination rests with the residents themselves.
Speaking at an event in Kathmandu, he stated that no one else can develop Bandipur except its own people.
He urged the locals to work alongside the state and other development enthusiasts to brighten the town’s future.
Highlighting the town’s hilly terrain, Paudel said that Bandipur has come alive again after a period of decline. Once a blooming town, Bandipur had previously fallen into neglect, he noted.
He praised Bandipur’s contribution to hill tourism through its rich culture and heritage, while also acknowledging that its potential and capabilities have not been fully utilized.
Paudel further stated that Bandipur has the unique ability to attract and retain visitors.
He called on residents to showcase the town’s strengths to their fullest extent, unlocking its true tourism potential.
