Pathak appointed head coach of Nepal women’s cricket team

KATHMANDU: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has appointed India’s Harshal Pathak as the head coach of the Nepal national women’s cricket team.

CAN confirmed the appointment in an official press release, highlighting Pathak’s previous experience as the coach of the Thailand women’s cricket team.

Pathak was selected following an open call by CAN for foreign coaches.

Under his guidance, Nepal will compete in the World Cup Global Qualifiers, scheduled to be held in Nepal from Jan 12 to Feb 1.
