Parliament adjourned till Tuesday

KATHMANDU: The meeting of Nepal’s House of Representatives was adjourned today and has been postponed until Tuesday, following continuous disruption by opposition lawmakers.

Speaker DP Aryal announced that the next session will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM.

The House witnessed repeated sloganeering from opposition parties demanding the presence of Prime Minister Balen Shah in Parliament.

Despite efforts by the Speaker to calm the situation and request cooperation, the Prime Minister did not attend the session, further intensifying the protest inside the chamber.

As the situation remained unmanageable, the Speaker adjourned the proceedings until the next scheduled sitting.
