‘Paral Ko Aago’ tops box office, overtakes ‘Ram Naam Satya’

KATHMANDU: Nepal’s film industry is witnessing strong box office competition, with Paral Ko Aago emerging as the current leader, according to the latest data released by the “Cinepa: Box Office” system under the Film Development Board.
Released on April 24, Paral Ko Aago has earned more than Rs 40.26 million as of Saturday midnight.
The film has sold 143,724 tickets nationwide, marking a strong commercial performance across theaters.
Meanwhile, Ram Naam Satya, which hit cinemas earlier on April 10, continues to maintain a solid box office presence.
Starring Biraj Bhatt, Sushil Shrestha, Divya Rayamajhi and others, the film has collected over Rs 34.08 million so far from 121,406 ticket sales.
Collectively, both films have crossed 265,000 ticket sales, reflecting growing audience engagement in Nepal’s cinema market.
