NEPSE gains nearly 10 points, market shows positive momentum

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) rose by 9.78 points on Monday, closing at 2,550.36.

Shares worth Rs 394.40 crore were traded, totaling 8,893,778 units.

Out of the companies listed, 167 saw their share prices increase, 76 experienced a decline, while 13 remained unchanged.

A total of 335 companies were active in trading, with 61,635 transactions recorded throughout the day.

Among the 13 industry groups, all except non-life insurance and other sectors posted gains.

The development bank sector attracted the most investor interest.
