NEPSE gains 62.29 points; positive momentum in Hydropower stocks

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index surged by 62.29 points, closing at 2,571.34, marking a 2.48% increase.

A total of 314 companies saw 9,243,723 shares traded across 47,094 transactions, amounting to Rs 457.39 crore in turnover.

All sectoral indices except the trading group recorded gains today.

Nyadi Hydropower Limited and Butwal Power Company Limited hit the positive circuit limit during the session.

On the losing side, Himalayan Power Partner Limited shares fell the most, declining by 6.36%.
