Nepal reports 280 fresh COVID-19 cases, 6 new deaths

KATHMANDU: DEC. 15 – Nepal reported another 280 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, according to the health ministry.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, COVID-19 infections have been confirmed in 252 out of 9,212 PCR tests and 28 out of 2,782 antigen tests conducted across the country.

At the same time, the number of COVID-19 infected in Nepal has reached 920,889.

Similarly, six more people have died due to COVID-19, bringing the death toll to 11,565.

In the meantime, 300 patients have returned home after fully healing from COVID-19, bringing the number of recovery cases to 807,816.

At present, there are 5,635 active in isolation in Nepal while 95 are in quarantine, according to the ministry.
