Nepal reports 11 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 27 – The Ministry of Health and Population reported 11 new cases of COVID-19 in the country in the last 24 hours.
Out of the confirmed cases, eight were detected through the RT-PCR method and three from the Antigen method.
A total of 5,891 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours. Of them, 4,119 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 1,772 through the Antigen method.
During this time, no COVID-related fatalities were reported. The COVID-19 death toll in the country stands at 11,951 to date.
Seventeen infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours, the ministry said.
According to the Ministry, there are currently 252 active infected people in Nepal.
