National Life Insurance honors COO Club Members in Pokhara

KATHMANDU: National Life Insurance Company Limited organized a COO Club Members Felicitation Program at Hotel Waterfront, Pokhara, under the chairmanship of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Suresh Prasad Khatri.

The program honored agents from Gandaki Province who achieved the company’s insurance premium collection targets for the fiscal year 2081/82.

A total of 220 qualified agents, along with departmental heads, provincial heads, and branch managers from Gandaki Province, participated in the event.

During the ceremony, CEO Khatri inaugurated the program by lighting the traditional panas. He distributed COO Club membership certificates and honored top-performing agents who secured the first, second, and third positions based on their code and collection performance.

In addition, CEO Khatri presented silver medals engraved with the company logo, certificates, and khadas to the National Ratna and National Star award-winning agents from the province.

Addressing the event, Khatri stated that the company has planned to organize similar provincial-level felicitation programs across the country under the COO Club and National Award categories. He highlighted that the COO Club Membership Scheme was launched as part of the company’s agent-friendly initiatives, with over 1,600 agents selected nationwide — marking the program’s remarkable success.

Renowned international trainer Kazim Raja also conducted a special training session during the program, emphasizing that success in the life insurance business requires building strong connections and confidently presenting insurance policies to as many people as possible.

The participating agents expressed their enthusiasm, saying that the training provided them with renewed motivation to pursue the insurance profession more professionally. They also shared their pride and gratitude for receiving recognition from the CEO, stating that the honor validated their hard work and dedication.
