KATHMANDU: APRIL. 26 – The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has urged to avoid hot air (Lu).

To avoid the hot weather in the Terai, the ministry has issued a notice urging people not to leave their homes in the afternoon.

When you go out, cover your head with a thin cloth or an umbrella, drink fruit juice or water, drink jeevan jal occasionally if you sweat a lot, take a cold bath, work in the field every morning or evening, and avoid drinking too many sugary liquids, such as tea, coffee, and soda.

Hot air affects breathing, lowers blood pressure, causes sweating, severe headaches, dizziness, fainting, a body temperature of more than 104 degrees Fahrenheit, and dry, red, and hot skin.
