Minister Neupane urges Civil Servants to uphold integrity & transparency for good governance

KATHMANDU: Federal Affairs and General Administration Minister Bhagwati Neupane called on civil servants to perform their duties with integrity, transparency, and commitment to good governance on the occasion of Civil Service Day.,

Speaking at a program held in Kathmandu on Sunday, Minister Neupane emphasized that civil servants play a key role in implementing the nation’s policies, programs, and laws.

She urged them to prove their abilities by being competent, time-conscious, and transparent in their work.

She firmly believes that when the civil service performs its duties responsibly and earns the trust of citizens, it will pave the way for good governance in the country.

Minister Neupane also highlighted that if all citizens adhere to their duties with discipline, the need to constantly reference developed nations would become unnecessary.

Addressing the growing trend of youth migration, she stressed the need to attract young people into the civil service sector.

She pointed out that a single person’s efforts are not enough to build a nation, emphasizing that everyone must contribute at their respective levels for national development.
