‘Malati Mangale’ releases ‘Chudka Bhajan’ amid strong audience excitement

KATHMANDU: The film“Malati Mangale” has continued its impressive box office performance as it enters its third day of release, driven by strong audience turnout and powerful word-of-mouth publicity.
In celebration of the growing success in cinemas across the country, the production team has released a new musical video song titled “Chudka Bhajan”, featured in the film.
The newly released song “Chudka Bhajan” features lyrics written by Purushottam Dhungel, with vocals by Kiran Bhusal and others.
The music has also been composed by Kiran Bhusal, incorporating an engaging traditional Chudka rhythm.
The percussion arrangement includes contributions from Kiran Bhusal and the Raipur community, while Sandeep Paudel has delivered an outstanding performance on traditional instruments such as madal, mujura, and khaijadi.
Additional vocals in the devotional track are provided by Govinda P.K. Anshu, Achyut Kadel, Sanjay (Saput Moktan), Rahul Moktan, Dinesh Lama, Hwanchi Lama, and Mohan. The mixing and mastering of the song have been completed by Rhythm Kandel.
Released last Friday, the film has been receiving an overwhelming response from audiences.
Due to strong positive reviews and organic word-of-mouth, cinema halls across the country are witnessing increasing footfall.
On Saturday, to gauge audience reactions, producer and senior singer Ramkrishna Dhakal, along with actors Barsha Raut, Bijay Baral, and Mexam Gaudel, visited several theaters in the capital.
They were warmly welcomed with cheers and thunderous applause from excited audiences, many of whom were thrilled to see the artists in person.
Viewers leaving the theaters have described the film as a “masterpiece of Nepali cinema,” calling it a deeply emotional experience that ranges from laugh-out-loud comedy to tear-jerking moments.
Audiences particularly praised Barsha Raut’s emotional performance, as well as the powerful acting by Bijay Baral and Mexam Gaudel.
Produced under the banner of Rani Films in collaboration with Uni Entertainment, the film is directed by Praku Pandey, who also developed the story.
The screenplay and dialogues are written by Sanjog Guragain. The film features strong performances from Bijay Baral, Barsha Raut, Mexam Gaudel, along with Prakash Ghimire, Sarita Giri, Narin Thapa, Manju Sapkota, Sushma Niraula, and Sunil Tamang.
Sagar Gnyawali serves as executive producer, while Babu Subedi, Rabin Shrestha, Bedana Karmacharya, Padmavati Gurung, Swikriti Basnet, and Milan Bajgain are co-producers.
The technical team includes cinematographer Mahesh Paudel, editor Romi Mozes, colorist Krishna Bhandari, background score by Sujil Karmacharya, and sound mixing by Dikesh Khadgi.
The film is distributed nationwide by RR Films.
With growing audience appreciation and strong momentum at the box office, the film is expected to continue its successful run in the coming days.
