‘Malati Mangale’ Australia distribution rights sold
According to the production team, the Australian screening rights have been acquired by Mount Pumori Events.
KATHMANDU: The critically acclaimed film ‘Malati Mangale’, which has already been successfully screening in Nepal, the United States, and Canada, has now secured its official distribution rights for Australia, marking another major step in its expanding international journey.

The deal comes amid growing interest from the Nepali diaspora, following the film’s strong box office performance and highly positive audience reception both in Nepal and abroad.
Produced under the banner of Rani Films in collaboration with Uni Entertainment, the film is directed by Praku Pandey, who also penned its story. The screenplay and dialogues are co-written by Sanjog Guragai.
The film features a strong ensemble cast including Bijay, Barsha, and Mexam in lead roles, alongside veteran and supporting actors such as Prakash Ghimire, Sarita Giri, Narin Thapa, Mansu Sapkota, Sushma Niraula, and Sunil Tamang.
Backed by executive producer Sagar Gyawali, the film also includes contributions from co-producers Babbu Subedi, Robin Shrestha, Vedana Karmacharya, Padmavati Gurung, Swikriti Basnet, and Milan Bajgain.
On the technical front, the film has been praised for its high production quality, featuring cinematography by Mahesh Paudel, editing by Romi Mozes, and color grading by Krishna Bhandari.
The background score has been composed by Tsujil Karmacharya, while Dikesh Khadka handled sound mixing.
