Legislative Management Committee annual report presented in NA

KATHMANDU: Tulsa Kumari Dahal, President of the Legislative Management Committee, presented the committee’s annual report for Fiscal Year 2081/82 to the parliament.
In her presentation, President Dahal highlighted that the committee has conducted detailed discussions on bills with the participation of experts, ministers, and secretaries, ensuring thorough legislative scrutiny.
The report covers the committee’s activities from Shrawan 1, 2081, to the end of Ashad, 2082, including the status of bills, member attendance, decisions made, and reports submitted.
During this period, the committee formally held 104 meetings, of which 86 focused on bill management, 4 on the assessment of law implementation, 5 on research and study matters, and 9 on other subjects, according to President Dahal.
