KATHMANDU: Kumari Bank Limited, a longstanding supporter of Nepali culture and traditions, has reinforced its commitment to social responsibility by awarding a substantial educational scholarship to the outgoing Living Goddess, Trishna Shakya.

In a special ceremony, the bank handed over a total of Rs 738,811.95 to support Shakya’s higher education.

With the noble aim of securing the educational future of the Basantapur Living Goddess, Kumari Bank has contributed Rs 100,000 annually to the scholarship fund since the beginning of her tenure.

This fund, established to facilitate her academic journey after her tenure, continues to be supported by the bank this year as part of its ongoing tradition.
