Komal Oli’s father dies after fall

KATHMANDU: Komal Oli’s father, Lalit Bahadur Oli, has died after a fall at his residence in Dang, according to the family.

Oli said her father fell from the rooftop of their home in Tulsipur on Friday while going outside, and died as a result of his injuries.

In a statement shared on social media, she said she was “deeply saddened” by the incident and was travelling from Kathmandu to Dang.

The family said the body would be kept at their residence in Dipalalit, near Bahini Gate in Tulsipur, for final tributes.

No further details about the incident have been released.
