Kathmandu Police extend probe into artist Sagar ‘Bale’
The police noted that they are closely monitoring posts and content shared through various social media accounts.
KATHMANDU: The District Police Office, Kathmandu, has confirmed that the investigation into artist Sagar Lamsal, popularly known as ‘Bale’, is ongoing.
Police spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent Pawan Kumar Bhattarai, in an official statement today, said that Bale, who was arrested on April 3 for alleged misconduct, has had the investigation extended by five days by the Kathmandu District Administration Office.
The police noted that they are closely monitoring posts and content shared through various social media accounts, including those claiming to represent individuals or news agencies, which have circulated different expressions, opinions, and information.
The Kathmandu police have urged the public not to share misleading or unverified information regarding the ongoing investigation into the alleged offense.
