Kathmandu Gorkhas set to bowl first against Sudurpashchim Royals

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket action continues on Wednesday as Kathmandu Gorkhas take on Sudurpashchim Royals.

After winning the toss, Kathmandu opted to bowl first, aiming to put the Royals under early pressure.

All-rounder Sunny Patel replaces Namibian captain Jehrard Erasmus in Kathmandu’s lineup.

Last year, Sudurpashchim had handed Kathmandu a 73-run defeat in their previous encounter.

While this marks Sudurpashchim’s first match of the tournament, Kathmandu began their campaign with an impressive five-wicket victory over defending champions Janakpur Bolts.
