KATHMANDU: Actor and filmmaker Jitu Nepal’s upcoming film I Am Jit Bahadur has officially announced its nationwide theatrical release date for June 19.

Revealing a first-look poster, the production team confirmed that the film will hit cinemas across Nepal starting from that date.

The recently released teaser has already received an enthusiastic response from audiences on YouTube, generating strong buzz ahead of its release.

Directed by Indian Bengali filmmaker Subhendu Ghosh, the film portrays the emotional journey of a young man who moves from a village to the city with dreams of becoming an artist, while struggling to survive and establish his identity.

The film features Jitu Nepal in the lead role, alongside Varsha Raut as his co-star.

The cast also includes Priyanka Karki, Sandeep Chhetri, and Deshbhakta Khanal in key roles.

Produced under the banner of Karmabhumi Creation, the film’s executive producers are Nischal Kunwar and Niraj Nepal, with Rajan Sinha and Dipendra Adhikari serving as co-producers.

Cinematography has been handled by Indian cinematographer Arvind, while post-production was completed in India.

The film’s distribution will be managed by RR Films, and its digital rights have been acquired by OSR Digital.

With Jitu Nepal’s three-decade-long career in cinema and television, expectations for the film remain high among audiences and industry stakeholders.
