Himalayan Java owner injured by bullet through window

KATHMANDU: Shantakumar Meheta, owner of Himalayan Java in Baneshwor, was injured after being hit by a stray bullet, eyewitness Ramila Nepal told Makalu Khabar.

The incident occurred as Gen Z protests intensified in Baneshwor, prompting authorities to impose a curfew in the area.

The ongoing demonstrations in Kathmandu have so far claimed the lives of 9 protesters.
