Hemanta Budhathoki surprised by his own appearance in ‘Kaji’ song (video)

KATHMANDU: Actor Hemanta Budhathoki has revealed that he only recently found out he appears in the song of the upcoming film Kaji, which is set to release on Jestha 8 (May 22).
The film’s song titled “Wari Bar Pari Pipalu” was released on Thursday at Ranjana Cineplex in Kathmandu.
The event was attended by lead actors Bipin Karki, Keki Adhikari, Garima Panta, along with Budhathoki himself.
Budhathoki said he realized his presence in the song only after watching the video during the launch event.
“I was not informed that I would also appear in the song. Usually songs feature only the main heroes and heroines,” he said. “Even the shot used was not originally filmed for the song; it was taken from another scene.”
He added that the scene fits naturally within the storyline and was not forcibly inserted into the song.
According to him, the song effectively helps narrate the film’s story, saying it carries several important elements of the movie.
