Gold & silver prices hit record highs in Nepal

KATHMANDU: The gold and silver markets witnessed a historic day on Monday as prices soared to unprecedented levels.

The price of traditional gold coins reached Rs 240,400 per tola, marking an increase of Rs 2,400 from Sunday’s rate.

Silver prices also touched a new peak, trading at Rs 3,220 per tola, up from Rs 3,125 on Sunday, setting an all-time high.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, 10 grams of gold is now priced at Rs 206,105, while 10 grams of silver trades at Rs 2,760.50.
