Gold & silver prices fall

KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices in Nepal saw a decline today.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of Chhaapawal gold dropped by Rs 1,400 per tola, trading at Rs 238,300.

On Monday, gold was sold at Rs 239,700 per tola.

Silver also witnessed a decrease in value. Yesterday, silver was priced at Rs 3,060 per tola, but today it fell to Rs 3,015 per tola, the association reported.

The association further stated that the price of 10 grams of gold stands at Rs 204,305, while 10 grams of silver is trading at Rs 2,585.
