Gold prices edge up while silver dips

KATHMANDU: Gold prices in the Nepalese market saw a slight increase today.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of Chhapawal gold coins rose by Rs 200 to trade at Rs 238,600 per tola.

On Friday, gold was priced at Rs 238,400 per tola.

In contrast, silver prices fell. Silver, which traded at Rs 3,020 per tola on Friday, decreased to Rs 3,015 per tola on Sunday, the association reported.
