Gold price stable, silver inches up

KATHMANDU: Gold prices remained stable while silver saw a slight increase in the Nepali market on Monday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, Chhapawal gold is being traded at Rs 239,700 per tola, unchanged from Sunday’s rate.

However, silver prices rose by Rs 5 per tola, reaching Rs 3,060 compared to Rs 3,055 the previous day.

As per the federation, the price of 10 grams of gold stands at Rs 205,504, while 10 grams of silver are being traded at Rs 2,623.50 today.
