Gold price plummets by Rs 3,800

KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the Nepali market fell sharply by Rs 3,800 on Tuesday.

After dropping Rs 500 on Monday, one tola of gold is now priced at Rs 239,500, according to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association.

On Monday, gold was traded at Rs 243,300 per tola.

Along with gold, silver prices also declined, with one tola of silver trading at Rs 3,090 on Tuesday, down from Rs 3,155 on Monday.
