Gen Z protester killed outside Parliament, death toll rises to 3

KATHMANDU: A Gen-Z protester was shot dead at Gate No. 1 of the Parliament building in New Baneshwor on Sunday.

The protester died on the spot after being struck by a bullet, and authorities immediately called for a vehicle to transport the body.

With this incident, the death toll in the ongoing Gen Z movement has risen to three.

Earlier, two other injured protesters had succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment at Kathmandu Medical College and Civil Hospital.
