Gen Z protest: Curfew imposed till 10 PM today

KATHMANDU: Following the recent Gen Z demonstration, the Kathmandu District Administration Office (DAO) has imposed a curfew in the Baneshwor area of Kathmandu.

In an official notice, the DAO announced that the curfew will be in effect on Monday from 12:30 PM to 10:00 PM.

According to the notice issued by Chief District Officer Chhabilal Rijal, the curfew covers the following areas:

Baneshwor Chowk to Bijulibazaar Bridge, Baneshwor Chowk to Tinkune Chowk, Baneshwor Chowk to Ratna Rajya School, and Baneshwor Chowk to Shankhamul Bridge.
