Fulham edges Nottingham Forest 1-0

KATHMANDU: Fulham secured a narrow 1–0 victory over Nottingham Forest on Monday in the final Premier League fixture before Christmas.

Raúl Jiménez scored the decisive goal from the penalty spot in first-half stoppage time after Douglas Luiz fouled Kevin inside the box, earning Fulham the spot-kick.

Chances were limited for both sides throughout the match.

Forest forward Igor Jesus missed an early opportunity, while Morgan Gibbs-White failed to hit the target with his efforts in the second half.

With this win, Fulham move up to 13th place in the league table with 23 points.

Nottingham Forest remain 17th, five points clear of the relegation zone.
