KATHMANDU: Foton’s electric van (EV) is redefining public transport in Nepal with a focus on safety, technology, and environmental friendliness.

Promoting the motto “Safety Always Comes First,” the EV van prioritizes passenger security while emphasizing that safe journeys begin with responsible driving.

Designed to navigate everything from busy city streets to remote hilly roads, the Foton EV van combines efficiency, durability, and reliable safety.

It is equipped with the world-leading CATL advanced battery system, ensuring robust performance even in Nepal’s challenging terrains and varied weather.

The battery’s thermal management system enhances longevity, reduces maintenance costs, and guarantees high-level safety.

The van features advanced braking technology, including four-wheel disc brakes, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), and EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), providing stability and control during sudden stops.

Hill-start assist prevents rollback on inclines, while features like Steep Slope Slow Descent make downhill driving safer and more manageable.

Safety is further reinforced with a strong chassis frame, durable suspension, and high-strength 3H steel beams that improve impact resistance.

Anti-collision steel beams in the bumper and doors protect passengers during accidents, contributing to reduced injury risk and longer vehicle life with lower maintenance costs.

Smart safety features include parking sensors, radar-assisted reverse camera, a wide-visibility cabin design, individual seat belts, child lock system, emergency doors, and a first aid kit.

By integrating safety, technology, and reliability, the Foton EV van is establishing a new benchmark for secure, efficient, and sustainable travel in Nepal.
